Anxiety can present itself in many ways: worries, behaviors, or emotions. Anxiety can negatively impact a child’s quality of life including their ability to make friends and succeed in school. Generously funded by the Golden Corral Charitable Fund of Triangle Community Foundation, Lucy’s Book Club will present The Anxious Child, a workshop that will provide parents and early childhood educators with practical skills to help children cope effectively in situations that trigger anxiety in the home and in the classroom. This information-packed session will be led by Dr. Donald Rosenblitt, Executive and Clinical Director of the Lucy Daniels Center.
