Become a Monthly Donor:
Choose a monthly or quarterly amount you would like to give and we'll work with you to set up an automatic draft from your checking account or credit card. Call Patti Wilt at 919.677.1400 x104 or email her pwilt@lucydanielscenter.org.

Create Your Own Giving Page:
The Center staff will help you set up your own page to solicit your family and friends or invite them to make a gift in honor of a special family or other occasion.

Tribute or Memorial Gifts:
If you'd like to dedicate your gift to a person/s or an organization that is special to you, please provide the honoree's name/s.  We will send a card acknowledging your gift to the person you designate (gift amount will not be included). Contact Patti Wilt at 919.677.1400 x104 or email her at pwilt@lucydanielscenter.org for assistance. Use the tribute/memorial form attached and mail it with your gift.

Workplace Campaigns: Target your designated gift to the United Way, State or Federal Employees Campaign, or other workplace giving for the Lucy Daniels Center.

  • Triangle United Way:  Additional Giving Options - This will be posted on www.unitedwaytriangle.org from June through December.
  • Other Workplace Campaigns: A number of Triangle-area companies like IBM, Cisco, and others have their own employees giving campaigns. Please consider making a gift to the Lucy Daniels Center through this vehicle.
  • Matching Gifts: If you or your spouse works for a matching gift company, please include the appropriate matching gift form from your organization, so that we can process the paperwork. This is a wonderful way to boost your gift's impact.

Donor Privacy Policy/Anonymous Gifts:  If you prefer that your gift NOT be listed in newsletters or other donor reports, please inform the Lucy Daniels Center of your preference when you make your gift. Lucy Daniels Center does not sell or trade the names of donors with other organizations.

Other Gifts:

  • Stock or Property: If you would like to discuss a gift of stock or other appreciated property contact Joyce Watkins King, 919.677.1400 x120 or email her at jwking@lucydanielscenter.org.
  • Gifts in Kind: There are many ways you might be able to provide a professional service or items to assist with operations of the Center. Take a look at our Wish List, click here.
  • Donate a Car or other Vehicle: Donate by calling 877.CARS4US (877.277.7487) or go to www.donationline.com and be sure to choose Lucy Daniels Center as your charity. (cars don't have to be running)
  • Gift Planning: You can choose to make a lifetime gift to the Lucy Daniels Center by including us in your will, 401-K, or using other gift planning vehicles like charitable trusts.   • Affinity Cards: Connect your courtesy card at Harris Teeter or Food Lion, or your Target credit card with the Center.
    • Harris Teeter: The next time you check out, ask the cashier to link your courtesy card to the Center: Code # 4428
    • Food Lion: Link your courtesy card with The Lucy Daniels Center on their website: www.foodlion.com
    • Target: Link your Target credit card online with the code: #114970, www.target.com
  • Good Search and Good Shop at All Your Favorite Online Stores: Yahoo has teamed up with GoodSearch.com to donate a penny to the Lucy Daniels Center every time you search the web. This is totally free as the money comes from advertisers. It takes just a few seconds to go to www.goodsearch.com, select The Lucy Daniels Center for Early Childhood as your charity, and then do your search as usual. GoodShop.com, also accessed from the GoodSearch page, is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to the Center. Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you'll be supporting the Lucy Daniels Center.



Corporate and Organization Sponsorships:  The Lucy Daniels Center for Early Childhood offers sponsorship opportunities for events, education and outreach programs, and more to your company or organization.

In addition to providing your organization with visibility in the community, many of these programs also provide volunteer opportunities for your employees, who would like to have a hands-on role.
