The Lucy Daniels Center has announced the chefs who will compete beginning Jan. 22, 2018 in the second annual Cooking for a Classic:

Jan 22 – Troy Stauffer, City Club Raleigh vs. Matt Hannon, Ironwood Café, Southern Pines
Jan 23 – Jonathan Ballard, Dean’s Kitchen and Bar, Cary vs. James Patterson, McConnell Golf Dining, Raleigh
Jan 24 – Trey Cleveland, Top of the Hill, Chapel Hill vs. Aaron Matyac, Whiskey Kitchen, Raleigh
Jan 25 – Dean Thompson, Concord Hotels, Raleigh vs. Nick Fay, Coquette

Chefs who win during the first round will go on to the second round, either Jan. 29 or Jan. 30. The finale will be Wednesday, Feb. 7, with the winner awarded a restored vintage ’49 pickup truck.

All proceeds go to the children’s mental health programs of LDC, thanks in large part to our in-kind sponsors.
